Overview
Goals
The class project was to select a mobile app that a partner uses, find a feature that should be improved and build a user persona for the user of the app. Then test the low fidelity prototype of the redesign with the target users.

Challenges & Solution
Challenges
User was not aware of certain functions within the Cash App investing tab, such as sending bitcoin to friends. As well, the user wanted to be able to invest in alternative crypto currencies other than just Bitcoin.
Solution
Design an alternative coin investment page, the ability to transfer crypto wallets, and make the sending bitcoin function easier to use.
Research
User Interviews
I gathered data about my users from performing six interviews with users of the Cash App. I asked questions about their investing and crypto currency knowledge and their trading history.

After the interviews I found the following trends:
Users wanted more investing in investing tabs and to trade wallets.
There were concerns for the US dollar and faith in blockchain technology.
There was confusion around navigation and the investing page

User Goal
Mark has been getting more into investing into stocks and cryptocurrency for the last few years and wants to be able to invest in alternative crypto currencies other than just Bitcoin when using the Cash app.
Ideation
How might I improve the sending crypto feature?
Since the Cash App’s starting screen allows you to send cash to friends, I decided this would be the best place to allow users to also send crypto.
I made a user flow to demonstrate the steps to send Bitcoin.

Testing & Improvements
Testing Results
I tested four users with three different tasks
4/4 of users were able to send crypto to a friend
4/4 users were able to trade crypto currency and found it easier.
1/4 users was not able to find the page to transfer their wallets without guidance
Improvements After Testing
After my testing I found that transferring wallets needed to be added to the investing page as well so that there are multiple ways to find the transferring wallet feature.
